So few of the bride’s last words before her wedding day:
JL : kelangan na lang ng tao na incharge na magdistribute sa mga tao na magaabang sa pinto para ihagis un petals
me : baka madiretso ko sa mata mo pag ako
me : charot
me : haha
JL : avahhh
JL : bka pako ang ihagis mo
JL : waaaaaaaaa
me : hahaha
me : heheh
JL : malamang
me : di ko p nga alam susuot ko
JL : hahagalpak ako
me : hahaha
JL : wahehe
JL : ganun? magala marimar ka ulit
JL : wahehee
— she’s talking about the wireless landline phone. no, di nila ako napilit dalhin. I was supposed to help me communicate with the other wedding coordinator – ike daw. Ayaw! 😛Â
So the the church wedding rites went fine, I was able to read the responsorial psalm without stuttering – I think. JL was really looking great from the time I saw her first preparing and waiting inside the bridal car – very different from the usual sungit at makulit girl that I always encounter in the office. Haha. But I did what I promised her – I was quite a serious girl throughout the ceremony, I just showed her my braces once while she was walking throught the aisle, and twice while she was already kneeling near the altar – and that’s just to help her feel at ease.
So the reception came, it started a bit shaky for me – I did a lot of asking of questions to people I have met for the first time, holding stuff I’ve seen for the first time, and doing wedding reception coordination FOR THE FIRST TIME. Haha. Practice toh for the next wedding I’m organizing. Haha.
So apparently, after all her laughters and craziness, I was told the bride was worried I felt harassed during the reception program ( you know being set up as the one to get the bouquet – lahat ng girls tumabi at ako naiwan sa gitna, being kissed on the cheek by the guy who put the garter on my right leg, and being used as a part of the props in the photoshoots with the groom – among others ):
alex girl: sabi ni JL baka naharass ka daw
alex girl: sabi ko naman, alam mo naman si aliza, kelangan maharass para mag enjoy din
Okei, friends…raise your hand if you agree with alex. No one has ever told me that before. Darn you alex. 😛
