Yesterday was Mother’s day and i’ve received a lot of greetings from friends and families… I am still not used to those greeting ’til now. It feels like im just playing “bahay-bahayan” and taking care of a doll. :PWell what did we do yesterday? We started packing some of Janna’s things and posted it online for sale. Say byebye to her crib, avent sterilizer and baby walker. This is to make more room coz we bought her a fence so she can still have enough space to run and play around but will still be safe. We decided to buy the fence because the other day, Janna bumped her head again. She tried to follow me to the CR. And even though I’ve baricaded the place with chairs, luggage bags and her walker, she seemed to have this adrenaline rush of seeing me walking away from her and she ran and went over the walker… falling from it with her head first. And this just happened in less than a minute. 🙁 Anyway, i was able to sell the crib and sterilizer right away and the buyer will comeby later to pick it up.
Now Janna enjoys her new play area (see below). I find this really cool coz it can change it shape from rectangular, to circular, or anyshape and this is essential because we have a small room to fit it into. Next on our list to buys will be a really thick and big carpet. Will buy once we’ve moved in to the new flat/room.

After cleaning up, we went to mass then we met with some friends and we all headed for a massage after that. Jason had a whole body thai massage while i only have thai foot massage because there’s no one to leave Janna with. 🙁 Anyway, i don’t think i’d like the whole body thai massage because thai massage style seemed painful. I’d rather a shiatsu massage… next time…next time… 😛 Then after that painful massage… we went to Genki Sushi for dinner. It has sushi’s moving around the area and you just pick up what you like when it pass by your table. Jason and I were very satisfied with the meal. I liked the salmon roll and scallops and ofcourse my favorite california maki.
Oh well, it’s a tiring day being a mom on mother’s day 😛 but I enjoyed it anyway. Im flat out in bed after that long day… 😛
Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms!!! It’s such a fabulous and challenging full time job 😛
