What is happening to the world now? Just recently, we received news of more filipinos who were laid off, mostly from architectural firms here. I get feedbacks also from some of my friends from other side of the world that the companies there might cut off some of their employees because of the global crisis.

How do we survive this? what is the back up plan? ako pa naman si ms. back up – kailangan meron back-up palagi. We are fortunate that my family is still surviving here- but what if we got hit? what to do? Minsan naiisip ko magfafarm nalang ako sa pinas… magkaron lang ako ng self-sustaining home ayus na – bawas muna sa mga kaluhuan sa katawan. But that was just me, iba na ngayon, i have a family and a cute little baby to take care of. Ano na lang ang magiging kinabukasan ng cute little baby janna ko?

Some people here say na “could it be that the end of the world is nearing?” kse daw, pagmeron matinding recession, kasunod nun ay gera – ano un? world war 3? Wag naman po sana… Marami din daw mga dumarating na signs, like mga natural calamities na nangyayari sa ibat ibang bansa, forest fire, earthquake, drought – mga epekto ba to ng global warming? Is mother nature haunting us now for what we’ve done to her?

With all these, lalo na un mga taong nawawalan ng trabaho… it makes me scared of the world. Indi pa natin talaga nararamdman ngayon ang epekto, but what if nagtuloy tuloy and more and more people do desperate moves just to survive? I wish that in times like this, mas magkaisa mga tao, mas magpakita ng respeto at pagalala sa bawat isa and not be like in a dog eat dog world.

Every night I pray that things will be better for all of us, for the whole world. I truly wish it to be for my little baby.
