To Ktown and back

It has been 2 months now since Janna started going to her new school, Sun Island, in Kennedy Town. Here in HK, an hour’s travel is already considered far and long. And i never thought we could go this far. We had several plans on how to deal with this at first like consider moving to Ktown (but rental fee has gone way beyond our budget plus we already love the area and flat where we are now), consider moving Janna to other school near our place that accepts voucher (but her current school is the cheapest and she seemed happy there and loves her new school because majority of the students are also Filipino), get a school bus service (but no school bus would tale us since we are too far)… In the end, we gave up and made the best of our current setup, Ate Sims would bring her to school and I would pick her up, which turned out to be a good one since our travel time turned out to be our bonding time, and my only form of exercise since a lot of walking and bag carrying are required (i maintained a slim figure coz of this, a few more effort and my big tummy will be a thing of the past).

Although it is quite hard, we did manage and are just focusing on the goodsides of this turn of events in our life :)

So, 2 mos down, 18 more to go until she graduates from kindergarten 😀

P.s. i’m doing this journal in a bus on my way to pick up janna. Travel time is me time 😛
