20072008 is the wedding year!
A lot of the people i know are getting married this coming year, including me 😀 Many believed this year to be a very lucky one. I do hope so.
But oh my, i just hope i can get past this wedding preparation thing. I have just 1 month to go and yet, nothing is still set or final. Just recently, we have decided to change the church and the venue to our Alma Mater church. But just this morning i learned (thanks to my maid of honor for checking it out), reservation should be atleast 5 months before the wedding date. Arggghhhh, now we’re back to square one, or back to our original plan. The only thing im not in favor of with our first church choice is the availability of the time. It’s either 7am or 7pm.
Anyway, i guess we have no choice really, so… we’ll reserve it tomorrow (i hope).
This is a rush wedding at its finest! Good thing im used to cramming and doing rush multitasking work. It is also a good thing that both Jason and I are artists and that we can save up on our budget by doing some of the stuff on our own, or with the help of our friends. Oh im so happy i have my friends with me who volunteered and agreed upon my request to help and do most of the wedding things we need. For one, we were able to save up on the photographers, we have lot’s of friends who are good in photography. Entertainment? no problem, Jason was with a band once and he is surrounded with talented people who will perfom on our wedding day. Wedding coordinators, no worries for me, i have officemates and friends who volunteered to be my wedding coordinators on the wedding day itself so they’ll be the ones who’ll do all the worrying. Invitations, gown designs, and all my creative needs? well, that’s where me and Jason comes in, to do the design and creative concepts. We’re both a child of creativity anyway. 😀
This wedding is going to be a labor of love for me, Jason and our friends. Im so glad to have you guys to support us.
So this early, i say – Hello 2008!
Happy New Year and goodluck to us all. 😀
