2007There’s a lesson that i’ve learned from Evan Almighty and it’s been stuck in my mind since then. Everytime I experience some life’s difficutly, i just think of it as an opportunity. An opportunity to do good.
My family members and relatives and sometimes even friends has the tendency to depend on me regarding financial matters (i wonder why? seems like i have a magnet for these type of situations) — i just think of this as an opportunity to help others. When Jason and I have a heated argument, i think of it as an opportunity to test my patience and have a clear mind. Whenever I want some material things that i can’t have because im financially challenged, i think of it as an opportunity to appreciate my old stuff and an opportunity to be creative in recycling those. Everything is an opportunity – it’s just how we handle things and how we view them that makes it all different for each of us.
I really love that movie, its funny and yet, it was able to instill in me a very good lesson. 🙂
