2013Our not so mini Christmas Tree
It is that time of the year again when we unpack and put up those dusty Christmas decorations.
For us, it is our small Christmas tree which has been with us for the past 4 years. But this time, Janna requested for a bigger Christmas tree.
I did not want to get rid of our cute, small tree, so I decided to just put an extension to it to make it bigger.
I didn’t want to spend anymore so we just made use of recycled materials. Looking at the internet for inspiration, i found this paper cone Christmas Tree.

So, I gathered my materials, which are basically old magazines, tape, empty tissue roll board, and tissue roll holder.
Then I started attaching the cones from the bottom. The biggest cones first, around the tissue holder.
Just keep on adding cones until you reach the top, using smaller cones every after 2 rows.
I decided to make the color the same per row, i started with green to match the green of the tree at the top, then followed by yellow and red since we don’t have enough green brochures to fill this project
Now, Janna is as tall as the tree, just like when we first had the Christmas tree when she was 2 years old.
My kiddos posing beside the decorated Christmas Tree, I guess what’s left to add are some blinking lights!
