I must confess, I’ve been a Groupon addict, and I am now in the withdrawal stage, although I still occasionally take a glimpse on their site.

Could you blame me? They offer huge discounts!!!

I bought various products and services from Yoga classes, CCTV Cameras, Stationary Exercise bike, Photobooks, Comfort Rugs, blankets, Battery packs, travel bags, and even Hui Lau Shan drinks just to name a few.
And why not? When the offer is 50-70% off, of good and reputable brands, how can I say no?

On all my purchases, i haven’t really had any major complaints. The one time when they were not able to deliver a product I purchased because it was out of stock, they were quick to inform me and refund to me the full amount.
Fast correspondence is one of the things that I am looking for in a merchant. At times, I was even able to sell the excess purchases I made over other HK websites and forums or friends.

I even shop at Groupon in advance for holiday gifts for family and friends. So there’s the tip for you – Get a good gift at a discounted price, just plan ahead and purchase in advance

Times like this when everything seemed expensive, we must have some tricks up our sleeves on how to evade it.

The same goes when there are Annual sales, clearance sales, etc. You can already buy the gifts for future occasions (say 6 months from now) when you encounter a sale. When opportunity knocks, grab it! 😀

I must now organise my calendar and check whose birthday is coming up! 😛
